OVERVIEW

The goal of this 3-day summit is to enable clinicians who are actively engaged in perioperative medical care to incorporate the latest findings from clinical research and recommendations from evidence-based guidelines into their practices so that they can improve the quality and safety of their medical care.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Internists, hospitalists, family practitioners, anesthesiologists, physician assistants, surgeons, certified nurse anesthetists, nurse practitioners and allied health professionals engaged in management of the perioperative patient.

PRE-COURSES

Perioperative Focused Cardiovascular Ultrasound (Two options: Morning Session & Afternoon Session)
  • Have you ever wondered if your patient’s murmur was severe aortic stenosis? Have you wondered if their dyspnea was severe LV dysfunction? Of course you have! That’s why this course is for everyone.
  • Before attending the workshop, you’ll have access to our team’s online lectures. These will highlight the indications for FoCUS, techniques for performing an exam, and basic interpretation of ventricular and valvular function.
  • Having that background allows the workshop to be purely hands-on, giving you the tools to actually begin incorporating these techniques into your practice
Patient Safety, Quality and Efficiency in Peroperative Care (Full Day Course)
